Nestled in the south of Shropshire, close to the River Clun, the little village of Aston on Clun boasts a rich history that goes as far back as the Bronze Age and is recorded in the Domesday Book as Esten. The village is home to some famous buildings, including the Watermill, Round Houses, Court House and a Baptist Chapel, along with a pub, The Kangaroo Inn, and a community shop. The market town of Craven Arms is nearby, home to a series of fascinating buildings, while the medieval town of Ludlow and the delightful Church Stretton.
