Location Details
Whitstable's year-round seaside setting makes it perfect for watersports, and the Oyster Festival, held every July, pays homage to the town's fishing tradition. Whitstable Castle, which originates from the 1790s, organises a variety of events throughout the year, including a large May Day festival with performances by local musicians and artists. A small, independent brewery is located in town, and a variety of national and attractive small, independent retailers will readily satisfy any retail therapy needs.
