Location Details

Located on the north coast of Wales, Bangor is a university town with a plethora of bars and eateries.Two road bridges span the Menai Strait here, making it an important crossing point for the Isle of Anglesey. The castle and pier in Beaumaris, just across the sea, make for a nice day trip, or you may take a boat out to Puffin Island. Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay, and Red Wharf Bay are just a few of the numerous wonderful beaches in Anglesey, which may be reached by the Coastal Path. Plas Newydd, a National Trust mansion, is located on the island, while Penrhyn Castle and Bodnant Gardens can be found on the mainland. In addition to Snowdonia's awe-inspiring mountain ranges and lakes, the region offers a wealth of castles, beaches, and more. In Bangor and the Menai Straits, you can have it all!!
