Enjoyed our stay for the most part. On the second morning though, while attempting to shower and bath the kids, the drains blocked and led to raw sewage backing up through the shower. We were due to check out that morning but we had a wedding to get ready for and had to frantically decamp to a relative's house to get bathed and showered. We raised the issue with the letting agency (Sykes Cottages) and after speaking with the owner they offered us a £50 refund. Given we paid £498 for two nights it felt like a fairly paltry level of compensation
