Traditional Welsh bar The Brondanw Arms offers log fires and cask ales, as well as an award-winning restaurant during the warmer months, while Y Garreg Shop and Kitchen provides self-catering basics as well as an excellent meal made from local ingredients. Among the attractions in the area is Plas Brondanw, the former home of Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis, which is now open to the public.
