We had a really enjoyable stay at Station Masters Cottage. From the moment we walked in we just knew it was going to be good experience. The lounge had a welcoming feel with its traditional style furnishings inviting you to sink into the comfortable armchairs and settees with the option to light the log burner. We found the kitchen to be modern, stylish and very well equipped and the grocery essentials kindly provided were very welcome. The ground floor double and the twin bedded annexe room are both stylish comfortable and well appointed with the master bedroom suite upstairs needing to be seen to be appreciated, it is very comfortable and tastefully decorated having its own sitting area. The location of the cottage is convenient for exploring the area around Blakedown and Kidderminster and is just a short walk to local pub/restaurants. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderful . The owners have thought of everything you could need , the cottage is cosy , modern and original all in one . We had bread, wine ,milk butter , jam , tea and coffee waiting for us when we arrived . Gary was very helpful answering any questions straight away . The guide got when we booked was very informative and answered so many question regarding our stay . We used the train to travel to lots of places ,Worcester, SVR, Lichfield, Birmingham. I would highly recommend staying here , we will be returning.

This cottage has the wow factor. It looks gorgeous from the outside and this is matched on the inside with high end décor and fittings. With a railway theme in most rooms to match its history and location, this makes for a really cosy cottage. As a family of six adults and one child all our needs were met. The kitchen is well equipped and has a lovely dining area. The living room is large, with plenty of comfy seats and a wood burner (though the house is snug and warm without, even at this time of year). The Thomas the Tank themed bunk room went down a treat with our grand daughter. The master bedroom is just stunning. The other bedrooms were well presented and comfortable. The whole place was very clean and well maintained. The Christmas decorations for our stay made it feel really homely. Its location is amazing. It is right by the station giving an easy train journey into Kidderminster and beyond. It was 10 mins by car to the Clent Hills for a walk. Blakedown itself is lovely with a park, a shop and a few pubs. We all would highly recommend staying in this beautiful cottage.

Had a family get together here with grand parents myself and partner and kids. The cottage had everything you could want for a long weekend. With amazing details which we kept on finding and lovely and clean. With great access to Birmingham and the surrounding areas we all had a fantastic break and would highly recommend it. Hoping to rebook next years so we can all catch up again

Couldn't fault anything. Conscientious owner, Gary, who was keen to know of any faults, so that they could be rectified quickly. Gary provided milk, bread and other consumables, to get us started, including a bottle of wine. All necessary equipment is available. WiFi, Smart TV, dvd etc. Lovely setting and garden nice and secure, with plenty of seating and bbq. Highly recommend

Lovely cottage with great outside space, perfect in summer. It’s dog-friendly and there are a couple of nice pubs within a few minutes’ walk. Being a train enthusiast is definitely an advantage but not essential, the cottage is very close to the level crossing but we didn’t find the trains disruptive. Lots of great walks in the area. Owner professional and helpful, good communication.

Lovely railway cottage near lots of local attractions. Beautiful decor with care and attention taken in every detail from the railway memorabilia to the thoughtful touches in the kitchen and bathrooms. Cannot recommend this place enough! Hoping for a return visit very soon.

We had the pleasure of staying at the station’s masters cottage which has been beautifully restored and very well thought out. Great location. Lovely park a short distance away and lots of nice walks. We’ve enjoyed watching the steam trains on the occasions that they have gone by. I have no problem Highly recommending Station Masters Cottage.
