Location Details

The Rhinog, Moelwyn, and Arenig mountains surround this historic Welsh village in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Fishermen flock to the nearby Trawsfynydd Lake, which has a recently constructed walking and cycling path that circles the entire lake. Despite its modest size, the community has a good selection of shops. Water sports, hiking, fishing, golf, and mountain biking are all popular pastimes in this area. Dolgellau and Porthmadog have a lot to offer, as do Black Rock Sands, Harlech, and Barmouth's beaches. Take in castles, small gauge railways, slate and copper mines, and the famed Italianate village of Portmeirion.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
