Location Details
Ashbourne, at the southern end of the Peak District, is an English market town with a market place, an eccentric street plan, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns, and almshouses. The town was a fashionable social centre in the 18th century, and many Georgian buildings remain. Today, the town has many restaurants, inns, and antique shops, but don't expect a bargain. Dove and Manifold Valleys offer outdoor activities. 20 minutes to Alton Towers.

Had a fantastic stay at the woodshed. The accommodation is well thought out and the attention to detail is spot on. It’s a peaceful and very relaxing place to be. The hot tub is a bonus especially after a long walk. 10/10 from us. Thanks to Karl for being an excellent and friendly host.
We recently stayed in the Wood Shed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accomodation is excellent, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean with fab views. Karl did a great job of looking after us throughout and the complimentary prosecco on ice was a welcome touch. Would highly recommend
An absolutely fantastic cottage that I recommend to everyone to visit! The cottage has everything you could need and more! The owner, Karl was genuinely the definition of the host with the most, providing unmatched hospitality, greeted us with a lovely bottle of bubbly, easy to communicate with, always helpful when we needed anything and checked in to make sure we were okay throughout. The cottage itself is absolutely perfect and looks even better in person with all the amenities you need for a getaway. Definitely a place to we’ll be returning to regularly!
