Location Details
In the southern section of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, this charming single-street village is surrounded by stunning landscape and overshadowed by the magnificent Aran Mountains. There is a tavern in the village and many more nearby, as well as the Meirion Woollen Mill, which lies on the banks of the River Dovey and is available to the public. Dolgellau, a charming town nestled among the slopes of one of Wales' most stunning mountains, Cader Idris, is only 10 miles distant.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The location is absolutely stunning, you get views of the mountains from every direction. The hot tub is great once it does get up to heat which we had a little trouble with the first couple of days but after speaking with the host they helped us out and by the time we had returned on the Monday night, the tub was up the heating and was fantastic to get into after a long day of adventures. We were welcomed with prosecco, waffles and crisps when we arrived which is a lovely touch. The bed is extremely comfortable, we didn't sleep on the sofa bed but it was very comfy to sit on. The TV doesn't have any signal to pick up normal channels but if you have netflix or YouTube you can sign in and watch that with no trouble at all. The USB/iPod dock didn't work for us which was a shame. The only downside was the endless amount of bluebottle flies which were constantly in the kitchen, this is not down the hosts, I think its the time of year and the location. Amazing stay and great base for adventures in mid wales.
