There are a number of shops to choose from, including tea houses, taverns, and restaurants, as well as antique shops, and a market day is held every Wednesday. The National Park's superb walking and spectacular scenery, as well as the attractive villages of Hutton-le-Hole and Lastingham, are close by.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
