Location Details
Llanfairfechan is a small seaside resort on the beautiful North Wales coast. The town has miles of sandy beach, a bird sanctuary, and walks for all ages and abilities, including the famous Terrace Walk with views of the Conwy Estuary, Puffin Island, and Anglesey. Nearby is Conwy, a World Heritage Site with a 13th-century castle. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates them with annual festivals, events, and fairs such as the Honey Fair, Seed Fair, and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events. Betws-y-Coed is just over a half-hour away by car, and Zip World Velocity, the longest zip wire in the northern hemisphere, is less than 20 minutes away in Bethesda. Surf Snowdonia is just 7.5 miles away. Llanfairfechan is a great base for exploring Snowdonia National Park, unspoiled beaches, and Victorian Llandudno.
