This vibrant community is home to Whitby Abbey, one of the most famous historical sites in England, as well as the 199 Steps, which lead down to the beautiful harbour. Whitby Museum is also worth a visit, showcasing the town's fascinating maritime history. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs in the area, as well as stunning coastal scenery to enjoy.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Sadly in need of makeover and carpets replaced with hard floor as carpets are dirty and stained as is the sofa which also sags and also needs replacing. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom needs a Shelford cabinet as there is nowhere to put toothbrushes etc except the floor. The toilet cistern mechanism needs repair as buttons do not work, had to lift lid to push plunger to make it flush. Would not recommend it as it is. Also you have to climb over other person as access is one side only.
