Location Details
Lymington is a picturesque market town on the west bank of the Lymington River, at the western end of The Solent and on the southern boundary of the New Forest National Park. There are regular ferry connections to the Isle of Wight, in addition to being a popular sailing destination. You can visit one of the town's many intriguing boutiques and craft shops, or treat yourself to a dinner at one of the many local eateries. From the heathlands and ancient woodlands of the New Forest to the coastal nature reserves that stretch over 5 miles, ending in the shingle spit where Henry VIII constructed Hurst Castle in 1554, Lymington is surrounded by an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
