From Old Colwyn to Penrhyn Bay, a broad promenade encircles the expansive bay and provides access to a lengthy coastal cycling path, three miles of uncrowded sandy beaches, and the pier and harbour at Rhos-on-Sea. The well-known Welsh Mountain Zoo, Eirias Park's superb indoor and outdoor recreation areas, several nearby golf courses, and a variety of eateries and bars in Old Colwyn and Colwyn Bay are also nearby attractions. Take in-depth day trips to Victorian Llandudno, which has wonderful shops, the charming mediaeval town of Conwy, which has a castle from the 13th century, Bodnant Gardens, and the breath-taking beauty of Snowdonia and the Isle of Anglesey.
