A charming village in south Gloucestershire, nestled in rolling hills between the lovely city of Bath and the historic Marine city of Bristol. This delightful village, with a lovely local bar, sits on the outskirts of the Avon Riverside, which provides great days out as well as the ability to stroll or cycle along the rebuilt railway line. Bitton is adjacent to the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with Chew Valley Lakes and steep Gorges to explore, a truly spectacular setting. To the north, the Cotswolds provide a more undulating landscape with lovely settlements. Bath's Georgian alleyways make for an exquisite day out, while dynamic Bristol has plenty to offer, including trips to the theatre, aquarium visits, and simply resting by the sea.
Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
