Location Details
At the northernmost tip of Northumberland, on the Scottish border, is the picturesque village of Cornhill-on-Tweed, which is only 1.5 miles from Coldstream and 15 miles from Berwick and the coast. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, including walking, golfing, and fishing on the nearby River Tweed. The Heritage Coast of Northumberland, complete with its castles, miles of sandy beaches, wildlife, and dunes, is only a leisurely 30-minute drive from Cornhill. It takes only 40 minutes to reach Alnwick, famous for its Norman Castle and Garden. The village has a well-respected Country House Hotel, The Collingwood Arms, known for its delicious food and excellent ales.

A beautifully decorated cottage with open plan sitting room and kitchen. Good sized bedroom overlooking a large immaculate lawn. Good sized bathroom with bath and overhead shower and rain shower. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge, hob and oven.The cottage is adjoined to 4 others in a courtyard and in the same complex is the 5 bedroomed Coach House. Would highly recommend. In a great location with so many places of interest to visit including Flodden Battlefield, Ford and Etal estates and only 5 miles to Coldstream. The owners are lovely people who live onsite.
