Reviews

We arrived at the property to find it very unwelcoming . We opened this door to a musty smell it was full of cob webs grimy and generally not clean to the point we refused to stay . The owner walked round the property I pointed out all the problems with a response of we are in the country side it’s a few cobs webs . Properly was awful bedding covered in cobs webs light fittings dead spiders everywhere sofa was torn I could not stay their at all. We call Sykes who offered to relocate us as a family once we provided pictures/videos as evidence. The owner admitted the property had not been cleaned once I pointed. Out the bone dry mop. Sykes where as bad as the property if not worse numerous phone calls requesting phone calls back nothing . 6pm we where stranded no where to stay and office was closed 11 hours in the car myself my husband and children ended up back home . Heart breaking . Took till the Thursday to speak to a manager from the Saturday we had no holiday or relocation. Awful experience I would not recommend the property or Sykes at all . I have put one star as it won’t let me put zero stars

The main picture of this property is outdated, the garden is now overgrown and covers most of the brickwork, making the rooms dark. It would be nice to have outside garden furniture instead of fold out chairs and a rotting wooden table. Overall this property is clean, spacious and quirky with lovely rooms, main bedroom was enormous as was the en-suite bathroom, just needs a shower! The kitchen and lounge were spacious, sofa needs replacing as very uncomfortable, so spent most of our time sitting at the large kitchen table. A pleasant place to stay, just needs a few things updating. A great location for exploring the area and snowdonia not too far away.
