Location Details
Bungay is a historic town resting between Norwich and Halesworth. The town is known for its impressive castle, Bigod Castle, and offers a selection of attractions including Bath Hills countryside walk and Bungay and Waveney Valley Golf Club. Dining options include Spice of Balti, Mermaid Fish Bar and The Fleece Inn, while you can stock up on essentials at the nearby convenience store. Within easy reach of the town is the is the coastal town of Lowestoft where you can find further attractions and amenities such as pubs, restaurants and activities including the Maritime Museum, Carlton Marshes Suffolk Wildlife Trust walk, an Pleasurewood Hills Family Theme Park.

Absolutely stunning property and location. Didn’t expect it to be as lovely as the photos but it is in fact better. So lovely and serene, just what our family needed for a few days away. Absolutely everything has been thought of, even little things I had forgotten (tin foil) and the welcome gift went down a treat. A great base, we visited Southwold (lots) and Aldeburgh. ate in The Fleece Inn (recommended for service and food), had a takeaway from… (definitely not recommended!) and mermaid fish and chips (very much recommended). Loved seeing Mr and Mrs pheasant every drive in and out as well as Mr and Mrs Hare. Oh and an amazing bonus to see the beautiful sunsets from the front of the property too! Only thing now is to plan when we can come again!
