Shop 0.8 miles, pub 0.2 miles. Note: There are kennels in the vicinity and some noise does travel to Fig Cottage, subject to the wind direction and dogs in residence. Note: If you wish the super-king-size to be made up as a twin please let us know.
Location Details
Woodbridge is a historic riverside market town boasting an outstanding selection of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. The town has been famous for boatbuilding, rope and sail making since the Middle Ages. The working tide mill is a major attraction and a must visit for anyone staying in the area. The River Deben runs alongside the town and is popular for boating, walking and wildlife with wonderful views over to the National Trust site of Sutton Hoo. The town hosts a number of events throughout the year and is a wonderful place to visit.

This property is perfect. It is set among trees, not overlooked, you see wildlife in the garden. The cottage is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. It is cool in summer when you shut the blinds to keep out sun. The beds are large and so so comfortable. Each room is ensuite. A night light is provided, lighting around the bathroom mirror and a long mirror in one bedroom. I was worried that the shower might be slippery but it didn't seem too bad. There are also baths. Easy chairs and dining chairs are comfortable with plenty of plugs for computer etc. The garden is planted with lavender and pansies. There is a picnic table type bench on the lawn and on the patio there are new wooden garden chairs with a cushion pad set around a table - I enjoyed sitting outside sketching. Using a sat nav the property is very easy to find. Despite a dog kennels not far away, we heard no dog noise (what a change from living in a small town where every garden seems to have a dog) Peace, perfect peace. The communication by text with the owner was very good.
