Location Details

Wales' Llyn Peninsula, where the charming harbour community of Abersoch is located, is well known for its spectacular scenery and extensive hiking trails. The hamlet, which is nestled between two beautiful bays, is one of North Wales' most well-liked sailing locations, hosting significant regattas there all summer long. Together with several bars, eateries, and cafes, there are many stores that cater to tourists. Also, there are options for golfers because there is a course just outside the hamlet, and there are also local horseback riding facilities. Watersports fans can enjoy a variety of activities, including dinghy sailing, water skiing, and windsurfing, in addition to the world-famous surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell's Mouth). The area's most well-liked beach is likely the lengthy, sandy Abersoch Main Beach. The Llyn Peninsula is surrounded by a fantastic range of beaches, including the stunning and frequently quiet Porth Ceriad, with its high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). The National Trust owns the majority of the coastline, which is home to numerous secluded bays, sandy beaches, cliffs, and wildlife havens like Bardsey Island.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Reviews

We came for the bank holiday weekend and we had such a lovely time. The cottage was basically brand new and a lovely home from home feel and beautifully decorated. They even left a bottle of prosecco and a card on arrival which was lovely, they also provided essentials like washing & dishwasher tablets etc. which I feel is a really nice and helpful touch. Regarding the location, it was about a 10 minute walk to where the main bars and restaurants are. The Potted Lobster was lovely, definitely recommend however, I would suggest booking for any restaurants you want to try, in advance. Luckily I did for the majority of the weekend however, everywhere gets full quickly and actually stop taking walk ins. But this is the perfect stay for couples and families, couldn't recommend enough.
