The living areas in this lodge consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview and DVD player, and electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite and a twin with TV, along with a bathroom. Outside there is a lawn, decked area, furniture, and a hot tub, along with off-road parking for two cars. EV charging point. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 0.3 miles and a pub in 0.4 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Travel cot (no mattress) and highchair are available. 10 Horizon View is a wonderful base to enjoy the Cornish countryside. A village in Cornwall, Dobwalls is a fine holiday base. It boasts a small range of amenities including a pub serving food. Close by, walkers can take advantage of the proximity to Bodmin Moor as well as the market town of Liskeard. Further afield, find Cornwall's south coast, home to a number of popular places including Polperro and Fowey.
The lodge is in a superb location and you could spend hours enjoying the panoramic hilltop views either from the glass surrounded living room or from the excellent hot tub on the refurbished deck. The beds were very comfy with excellent quality bedding and the whole lodge, although a little tired in places, is perfect for a relaxing week with everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay. The situation of the site (which was superbly maintained) was perfect for accessing the main roads to get around Cornwall while maintaining a quiet and peaceful location. We look forward to returning!

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
