The living spaces in the property consist of a commercial-sized kitchen, a first-floor dining room with seating for forty guests, a first-floor sitting room with TV and a woodburning stove, a multi-activity room with table tennis and table football, drying room and bike workshop and secure storage including bike wash area and workstation. The bedrooms on the ground floor consist of a double, twin with basin, two family rooms with two bunks, three family room with a double and two bunks and a family room with three bunks, as well as a first-floor double and twin and seven shower cubicles and nine WCs. Outside there is a private wrap-around lawn with furniture and fire pit and off-road parking for twelve cars. Within 0.1 miles you will find a shop, within 5.8 miles, a pub and within 0.3 miles, a river and please note that five well-behaved dogs are allowed but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A highchair, travel cot and stairgate available on request. The Lodge is a wonderful base to begin your Welsh adventure.

Location Details

The market town of Llanidloes is located on the eastern slopes of the Cambrian Mountains and has access to some of Wales' and the Welsh/Shropshire Borders' most pristine and unexplored landscapes. Within a 10-mile radius, there are numerous recreational opportunities, including walking, cycling, riding, fishing, tennis, golf, swimming, and shooting. There are other attractions farther out but yet easily accessible for sightseeing: Within easy driving distance are the Shropshire towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury, as well as the well-known North Wales destinations of Llangollen and Snowdonia. Powis Castle (National Trust), with its internationally renowned gardens, is only 20 miles away. The Welsh Coast, with its fine beaches, is less than an hour away. A beautiful area that's perfect for a relaxed getaway or an adventurous getaway.
