Terrible experience. Cottage was polluted with oil fumes. My group all experienced ill effects. Sykes holidays very unhelpful. They and the owners let out the cottage with prior knowledge of this problem. Illegal, dangerous, completely spoiled our holiday.
Absolutely health and safety hazard we couldn’t use the garden due to a bees nest and the company said they wouldn’t do anything. It’s really grubby tired and I am also seeking a refund.DONT BOOk
Stay clear of this property, tiered and in need of TLC, property very cold. Took 3 days for the thermostat to be altered to allow the temperature to rise above 13.5 degrees! Appalling customer service from Skye’s and the owners. Avoid at all costs. Funny how the heating could be accessed remotely yet took 3 days to do this. Disgusting and should be ashamed. We have requested a partial refund for our first 3 nights. Still waiting a satisfactory response 4 weeks later.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
