Just a short stroll from the village centre there are plenty of amenities including cafés, restaurants and local pubs where you can enjoy live entertainment at weekends. A few minutes’ walk away are the sandy beaches where you can wander north to Bamburgh or head south to the fishing village of Beadnell. ACCOMMODATION GROUND FLOOR Entrance hall with stairs leading to the first floor. Lounge with comfy seating, Smart TV, and open fire. Dining room / snug with sofa, Smart TV, open fire and dining table and chairs. Kitchen with brand new electric Rangemaster classic double oven (Nov 23), dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother (please bring own capsules) Cloakroom with WC and basin. Location Details
A bustling, pretty fishing village with an attractive harbour, situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Seahouses offers a variety of shops and a good selection of inns, pubs and eating places. Nearby are miles and miles of splendid sandy beaches and the opportunity to visit the bird sanctuary or seal colony on the famous Farne Islands with boat trips running daily from Seahouses, is not to be missed. There are numerous castles and great houses to explore, such as the magnificent castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (home of the Duke of Northumberland), to mention just a few. Golf, fishing and riding are also available locally.
