Within 1.2 miles, you will find a shop, and within 2 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Location Details

Close to Ross-on-Wye and The Forest of Dean, this mediaeval village in Herefordshire features two excellent pubs and a well-stocked general store. The village is conveniently located near two popular hiking routes: the Herefordshire Trail and the Wye Valley Walk. Many Tudor timbered buildings, a market hall from the 17th century, unique shops, pubs, and restaurants, and the opportunity to stroll along the River Wye, take a leisurely river cruise, or view the countryside from above can all be found in the market town of Ross-on-Wye. Close by is England's largest oak forest, the Royal Forest of Dean, where you can go on beautiful walks, bike rides, abseils, and canoe trips. Hereford, with its fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and chained library; Hay-on-Wye, known as "the town of books"; Ledbury, with its many food and drink festivals; the majestic Black Mountains; and the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park; are all within easy travelling distance.

Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

This is an amazing place to stay and we were fortunate to be here for a month. Complete home from home , everything you need , very clean , very relaxing and owners on hand if required. Would highly recommend staying here& so good we have booked again for next year.
