The Calf Pen, Colyton

The living areas in this single-storey property consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a dining area with seating for four guests and a sitting area with Smart TV and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed front gravelled area with furniture, a communal picnic area, shared glass dining house and dog field, as well as off-road parking. Within 1 mile you will find both a shop and a pub and within 0.1 miles, a pond and please note that dogs are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Travel cot and highchair available on request. The Calf Pen is a wonderful base for a family of four to gather in Devon. Note: There is an additional charge of thirty pounds per dog, per stay.

Location Details

Colyton, a small village in East Devon, has been inhabited since 700 AD. Colyton, which is three miles from Seaton and six miles from Axmouth, contains a lot of historical structures, like St. Andrew's Church, as well as meandering alleyways filled with independent businesses. The numerous inns provide delicious food and a friendly atmosphere. From the tram stop in Colyton, you may take a relaxing ride to Seaton along the River Axe. The charming towns of Colyford, Southleigh, Northleigh, and Farway are tucked away in the Coly Valley and make for pleasant day trips.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
