Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the stunning Northumbrian coast, this bustling, picturesque fishing community boasts an attractive harbour. Seahouses is home to numerous retail establishments in addition to a wide range of restaurants and drinking establishments. There are many beautiful sandy beaches in the area, and day trips from Seahouses to the nearby Farne Islands, home to a bird refuge and seal colony, are not to be missed. The majestic castles of Bamburgh and Cragside, and Alnwick (the residence of the Duke of Northumberland), are only a handful of the many castles and stately buildings that can be visited. It's also possible to go golfing, fishing, or horseback riding in the area.
