The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a dishwasher and a living/dining room with dining seating for six guests and a TV. The bedrooms consist of a double, a double with en-suite bathroom, twin and a family room with double and a bunk, along with a shower room and a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear decking with furniture and a shared lawn. Within 1.3 miles you will find both a shop and a pub and please note that one well-behaved dog is welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Durdle Door Lodge is a fantastic property, ideal for a family escape to Dorset. Note: The property is located on a campsite. The dining table is plenty big enough to seat your party and home cooked meals rustled up in the well equipped kitchen can be enjoyed here whilst you plan your next day’s adventures. There is a ground floor double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath together with the convenience of a downstairs shower room complete with walk in shower, basin and WC competes the ground floor of this holiday home and moving upstairs, you will discover the three light and airy bedrooms; one family room with a double bed and bunk bed, a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Guests can also make use of the three acres of grassed lawn adjoining the property where there will be play equipment such as football goals and basketball hoops for the children to enjoy and plenty of open space for your four legged friend to run on some energy. The village of Wool is under two miles from the property and here you can discover local shops as well as three pubs, a butchers, a bakers and a train station, so you can leave your car parked up and make use of the public transport links, including the Jurassic Coast bus, which connects you easily to Poole and Weymouth. Take an interesting trip to The Tank Museum in Bovington, home to a large collection of tanks including the first one ever built - truly it's a unique day out, and you may even see some of the tanks being test driven along local roads! Animal lovers won't want to miss visiting the amazing Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre, a haven for endangered apes in a wonderful open-air park, perfect for all ages! Venture down to the idyllic shores of Lulworth Cove for a beautiful day on the sands in this unusual land formation and capture a holiday snap next to the famous Durdle Door – one of the most photographed landmarks in Dorset. Lulworth Castle is a wonderful day out where you can explore the extensive grounds, woodland walks and marvel at the historic 17th century castle before stopping off at The Castle Tearoom for an afternoon treat. Location Details

Wool, a small Dorset community, has its own railroad station and is connected to Poole and Weymouth by the Jurassic Coast bus (X54). The Woolbridge manor in the 17th century, where Tess of the D'Ubervilles spent her honeymoon in Thomas Hardy's novel, is located along the River Frome, which flows through the village. Just outside Dorchester, some 12 miles from Wool, is Thomas Hardy's Cottage, which makes for an interesting day trip. Along with the Tank Museum, Clouds Hill, the location of Lawrence of Arabia's residence, and the monkey sanctuary Monkey World, Wool is also close to some of Purbeck's most popular tourist destinations. You may visit West Lulworth, where the breathtaking geological wonders of Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are located, after a quick 5-mile journey.
