Location Details

The little Cornish settlement Crantock is near to the well-known resort of Newquay and is only a short stroll from the beach. Here is the place to be if you want to avoid the crowds while yet being near to the activity. Although there is beautiful land all around and many charming villages to visit, the coast predominates. Experience fantastic surfing on beaches that span from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the heart of Newquay and on down the coast, as well as wonderful hikes along the coastal path over stunning clifftops. Several golf courses, National Trust estates, quaint pubs, and top-notch restaurants are located nearby. The Marine Life Centre, Newquay Zoo, adjacent Dairyland, and the Eden Project are just a few of the attractions in and around Newquay that make it a visitor's dream.
