Location Details
The coastal village of Morfa Nefyn, with a long sandy beach and close to excellent walking, nestles on the stunning Lleyn Peninsula in North Wales. Close by is the small town of Nefyn, and also within easy reach are Pwllheli and Abersoch, with good eateries, exceptional golf club and excellent watersports. The surrounding coastline has great walking with superb scenery, as well as good cycle trails, sailing and fishing. From Morfa Nefyn you have easy access to Portmeirion, Anglesey and Snowdonia.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Reviews
Lovely old house in a great location clse to the coastal footpath and in a lovely part of the peninsula, but seriously in need of being updated. We paid over a £1000 for our family weekend gathering, but two couples decided not to stay overnight as they felt the standard of the bedrooms were not satisfactory and they returned home early. The kitchen is modern, clean and has all the necessary utensils, but all tableware looked like they've been there since the 70's. The same goes for the dining room which were a mismatch of chairs and dated tableware. The two bedrooms on the first floor were ok, but the attic rooms were not as satisfactory. The double bed in the loft was not a double bed, the other two bedrooms felt damp and cold. The cabinets in the front attic room were broken and some of the pillows were stained. The house has storage heaters but we couldn't get these to work until the second night. The house felt cold. Andcthe diningvroom and downstairs loo felt cold and damp.There is a log burner in the front room, but this won't heat the whole house. Generally, this home did not feel like a welcoming place to relax and unwind. There is plenty of space to park, we managed to squeezec4 cars onto the drive, but there is no garden, only a picnic table placed on some concrete slabs in a corner. Their description is therefore misleading.
