Location Details
The small village of Lingdale lies on the northern edge of the North York Moors National Park, 4 miles from the former Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Surrounded by open countryside, Lingdale has a local pub and shops for everday needs. Saltburn has excellent amenities such as good restaurants, tea rooms, individual shops and art galleries. There are also good sandy beaches with a splendid historic pier. Lingdale village is a great base for visiting the pretty coastal villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, which lie on the Heritage Coast, renowned for its Jurassic fossil hunting trips. From Lingdale there is also easy access to the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough, and of course, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors.
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

What a beautiful cottage for our holiday, beautifully decorated, well equipped and always on hand for anything you need. The living space is big and spacious, and the bedrooms are big and airy. The scenery and views around are stunning and even seeing the horses outside in a morning is just a delight. It is in a perfect location for a quiet evening, but not far to pop for some lunch or dinner. You can even walk through the magical snicket to Boosbeck Park and reservoir. Will definitely recommend and be booking again.
