Location Details
Drakewalls is a tiny village in southeast Cornwall that is not far from Devon's border. There aren't many pubs or restaurants there, but if you want to try some local cuisine while you're there, you can pick up any last-minute items at the convenience store. The National Trust property of Cotehele and other well-known tourist attractions are accessible from the settlement from a variety of towns in Cornwall and Devon. You may explore Kit Hill's open hills or head towards the Tamar Valley AONB for some of the most breathtaking walks and chances to take genuinely Instagram-worthy photos. You may also make a pit stop at the Tamar Valley Donkey Park, where your kids will love seeing the creatures up close. You can travel further to the bustling city of Plymouth for a more leisurely afternoon, or you can visit the Tamar Trails Centre and try flying down a zip line. This is a beautiful rural spot where tourists of all kinds may discover the best of Cornwall and Devon.

The actual bungalow is clean and tidy and well decorated but unfortunately there is some damp in the bedrooms. My partner booked this bungalow for a week with our 14yr old son and his parents. The major problem for us was that we were not advised that it would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems to access the bungalow due to the steep incline from the car park, also it advertises 2 parking spaces but we were unable to park our cars as it was a busy week. The major let down for my son was the fact that we had no access to the swimming pools on site as we were told the owners do not subscribe to the leisure facilities. If you want a holiday well away from anywhere this would be ideal but as a family that would have liked to see more it was too isolated for us.
