Location Details
Between Carmarthen and the Pembrokeshire coast's beach resorts is the little village of St. Clears. The region is perfect for walkers, cyclists, and explorers alike and is great for visiting the South Wales coastline. The mound of the 12th-century St. Clears Castle can still be seen in St. Clears, which also includes a number of shops, taverns, and restaurants. St. Clears also holds numerous festivals and carnivals throughout the year. Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, and the Heron's Brook Golfing and Fishing Center are all close to St. Clears. See the Dylan Thomas Boathouse, Tenby, Laugharne Castle, and the famed Botanic and Aberglasney Gardens. Beautiful landscapes like the Preselli Mountains, the Pembrokeshire coastline walk, the Gower Peninsula, and the Brecon Beacons are easily accessible in all directions. With something for everyone, South Wales is a fantastic base for exploration.

Just had two nights staying at Ty Cariad. Katie and Leon are the best hosts, so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The bungalow is spotlessly clean, spacious and very welcoming. The sunny conservatory a particularly lovely area to have a coffee and listen to the birds. The views over the surrounding countryside are breathtaking and the walk around the land is delightful. We had fantastic meals out within a 15 minute drive and excellent taxi service to bring us home. Particularly worth trying Jabajak Vineyard for a meal, stunning food and wine. Katie showed us around the farm, we met goats, chickens (eggs provided in welcome pack along with milk, wine and chocolates) and horses. A super stay, will be back next time with our dog! Thanks to Katie and Leon.
Just love this place! So comfortable, a proper beautiful home from home with fantastic views! Katie and Leon are the best hosts. Their welcome couldn’t be better, so kind and generous. Fantastic hospitality! Don’t miss visiting all the animals that live here too, the chickens, goats, horses and the friendly non- feral feral cat! It’s a great base to explore from. So many fun days out within a 30 minute drive and a little further afield! So glad to have found this perfect gem nestling in the beautiful countryside. If you stay here, you will be too….. Relax and enjoy!
