Location Details

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the stunning Northumbrian coast, this bustling, picturesque fishing community is home to an attractive harbour. There is a wide assortment of stores and restaurants to choose from in Seahouses. Several kilometres of beautiful sandy beaches are close by, and day-trips to the famous Farne Islands, home to a bird refuge and seal colony, depart daily from Seahouses. The majestic castles at Bamburgh, Cragside, and Alnwick (the Duke of Northumberland's residence) are only a few of the many castles and great mansions that can be visited. It's also possible to go golfing, fishing, or horseback riding in the area.
