Tal-y-Bont is a settlement located in the Conwy Valley. The community is thriving in the village, which also contains a recreation park, village hall, hotel, butcher, Post Office, and shop. It is 0.5 miles north of Dolgarrog, which is bordered by the Coed Dolgarrog National Nature Reserve's trees and three rivers. The Gorge Walk, which will appeal to the more daring, and the peaks of Drum and Tal-y-Fan are within easy walking distance of Dolgarrog. The Marin mountain biking trail is well-known in the nearby Gwydir Forest. In addition to the market town of Llanrwst and the "walking village" of Trefriw being close by, the well-known inland resort of Betws-y-Coed is only six miles distant and is definitely worth a visit. Conwy, a World Heritage Site with a castle, festivals, shops, and restaurants, and Llandudno, the Queen of Welsh Resorts, with its sandy beaches and Great Orme, are both within a twenty-minute drive of the hotel. Adventure enthusiasts are drawn to the neighbouring High Ropes Centre, Zip World, Bethesda, and Blaenau Ffestiniog's Cave Experience as well as Surf Snowdonia, the first artificial wave lagoon. This region of Wales can be explored best from Tal-y-Bont.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
