Location Details

St Brides Major is a quaint village resting in the Vale of Glamorgan, resting near the coastline of South Wales. Home to a farm shop, The Fox pub, serving traditional fare, a village hall, and a florist, the village has all the necessities for a self-catered stay whilst a hub of amenities lies further into the county in Bridgend. For attractions, Dunraven Bay and its clifftop vantage point is a short journey away, along with the grand remains of Dunraven Castle, whilst Merthyr Mawr Nature Reserve, and Ogmore Castle rest either side of River Ogmore. Whilst visiting the area, Porthcawl is a must stop off, with its sweeping seafront, the Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl Museum, and The Wilderness Lake Porthcawl as recommended attractions, or travel east to explore the city of Cardiff, brimming with shops, eateries, a picturesque dock, and a host of landmarks, including National Museum Cardiff, Cardiff Castle, and the Wales Millennium Centre.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
