Location Details
Chagford is a picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. The town has a wide range of shops, as well as four pubs, providing visitors with plenty of amenities. It also has a variety of active facilities such as public tennis court and a seasonal, open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. Well-known for its culture, Chagford hosts film, literary and music festivals in the town as well as an annual running race, known as Two Hills Race.
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Lovely cottage set in glorious surroundings . We have just returned from a week at this beautiful cottage set in the Devon countryside our hosts Nicky and Simon were both unobtrusive and available if we needed them ....bottle of wine cooling in the fridge for us on arrival as well as some other goodies . "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
