The development now consists of 6 high end luxury apartments in the main residence and three high end barn conversions to the courtyard. The majority of the original features have been kept and restored which was a high importance to the British Heritage Report. The living areas in this home consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double, a double with Smart TV and en-suite, and a twin with en-suite, serviced by a bathroom and a cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed private patio with furniture and hot tub, a communal garden with lawned area, patio and furniture, and ample off-road parking. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 0.6 miles and a pub in 0.5 miles. Garstang is a small town within the Wyre Borough of Lancashire, famous for declaring itself the world's first Fairtrade town. Known locally for its tasty home-grown produce, this small town offers a warm welcome and a wealth of specialist and individual shops where you can pick up a number of treats; don't miss the local cheesemongers for a wedge of fine Lancashire cheese! The street market is held every Thursday, another exciting shopping treat. Running right through the centre of the town is the peaceful Lancaster Canal, where you can watch the passing canal boats cruise by and enjoy the abundance of wildlife it supports. The nearby Millennium Green, an area situated on the western bank of the River Wyre, has actually been designated for wildlife conservation and events in the community. Admire the views over the Bowland Hills before enjoying a visit to the High Street, where you will find plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants in which you can enjoy the local hospitality, or visit the Braedens Pony Trekking Centre, which make for great family days out. The surrounding countryside provides great walking opportunities, whilst the RSPB nature reserves at Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay are well worth a visit. Don’t be fooled by the photographs!!! The Hamilton apartments may have looked like that initially but now the place is dirty, unloved and in Disrepair. The first opening to paragraphs on The Hamilton website could not be further from the truth. “The Hamilton is a multi million pound development and is a grade 2 listed building which dates back to the 1600s. The development now consists of 6 high end luxury apartments in the main residence and three high end barn conversions to the courtyard. The accommodation is Advertised and priced as five star luxury accommodation. I wouldn’t even give it one star! don’t be fobbed off by the owners either, they’re full of rubbish and will tell you anything to try to take your money. The property is on a main road and an unsafe for dogs or children. The gardens are overgrown and unkept. There was no hot tub, nor by the looks of the property had there ever been. The property itself was unsafe, with broken windows and unsure doors. The furniture was dirty and broken. it was so bad that we didn’t stay there. We ended up booking a hotel for the night, and returning home the next day. We bought into this from the photographs of the property and the description, but I’m afraid it was all fur coat and no knickers.
