Egg Pudding Stone is a characterful, single-storey, former cow barn with two bedrooms including a super-king-size with a zip/link, and a double, along with a bathroom and an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, and for entertainment there is a TV with Freeview and Amazon Firestick (own logins required for streaming services), and WiFi. Highchair and cot available, (please bring your own bedding for cot). Outside, there is private driveway parking for two cars and a large walled garden with lawn, pond, meadows, and furniture. Fuel, power, a starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent, and a travel cot and highchair are available. Up to four well-behaved dogs are welcome, but sorry, this is a smoke-free property. Note: There is a pond on-site, children and pets must be supervised at all times. Egg Pudding Stone is a homely property in a peaceful area, perfect year-round.

Location Details

The historic, South Lakeland village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The Priory Church, one of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in the north of England, remains the heart of the community with its gatehouse forming the entrance to the village. The village features pretty streamside walks, quaint cobbled streets littered with antique shops, a charming gift shop, welcoming, traditional pubs serving real ale, the nationally acclaimed, Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, which sells the famous sticky toffee pudding. Take advantage of excellent walking opportunities amidst beautiful, unspoilt countryside, visit Cartmel Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall with its spectacular gardens, all of which are close by.
