Once a major RAF airfield, serving an important role in World War II as a fighter base protecting coastal areas, the village of Crossways has been built on historic ground and settled in the south of Dorset, just a stone's throw from the shores of Weymouth Bay and the bustling town of Dorset. Within the village you can find several local shops and some pubs, including Spitfire Club, a lovely bar nodding towards the area's heritage.
