Nestled in the beautiful county of Hampshire, just a short drive from the historic city of Winchester lies the quaint civil parish and village of Sparsholt. Housing a local pub, The Plough Inn, and a convenience store, the Sparsholt Village Shop, the village is also home to the hamlet of Dean, the serene green space of Farley Mount Country Park, and the brilliant Crab Wood Site of Special Scientific Interest. Lying west of Sparsholt rest the ancient remains of the Sparsholt Roman Villa, built in phases between the 2nd and 4th centuries, before being abandoned, whilst to the east of the village, visitors can spend a day exploring the bustling city of Winchester.
