A beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage had everything we needed and more. A lovely welcome gift on arrival, the comfiest bed ever and lots of good helpful tips on where to go and how to get there. The walk up to the waterfall was fabulous! The village is beautiful and everyone is very friendly! There are 3 pubs and a microbrewery! The shops are good, local butcher, greengrocer and general store. There’s also a very handy Coop. The walks to the river are fab. Lots of things to do with Kielder water being about a 30min drive away. The cottage was the perfect base to see lots of Northumberland and was perfect for our 2 dogs. We cannot wait to go back
