Location Details
The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films! Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.
Reviews
Beautiful lodge peaceful and beautiful surroundings however the mattresses are very cheap and thin, no toppers or even protectors. Shower is tiny, vertually unusable I am 5 foot 5 and a size 14 and struggled. There are no shelves in the fridge so everything freezes as no air circulation. Outside lights broken. Beautiful park have stayed in other lodges but would not book this one again the neighbouring lodges are much better.
