Clean, comfortable cottage. Central to everything I wanted to see. Hardly had to use the car because most things were in a reasonable walking distance.
The cottage was an excellent base for exploring the area with many good walks from the doorstep. It was also very convenient for the local pub and the railway station - both 5 minutes walk. The view towards the village from the back of the cottage was interesting and relaxing. The information made available by the owner about the equipment in the cottage was clear and useful. Thank you to all involved for a very relaxing stay.
We found the cottage absolutely delightful it was comfortable, quiet and in such a beautiful area. Highly recommended for a non -stressful holiday! One of the best! It has been beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed.
Pye Hall Cottage is in a very good location. In walking distance to Leighton Moss, and to Silverdale train station which links to Arnside, Grange-over-Sands and Carnforth. There were lots of lovely walks from the doorstep. A peaceful and cosy cottage.
The cottage was in very good condition, was well equipped and in an excellent spot for keen walkers. No need to get in the car at all.
This property is in an ideal place to connect with walks straight from the door. I didn't get in my car after my arrival until the day I departed!
A beautiful cottage - very clean and well furnished. In a lovely setting that is perfect for a holiday or short break. It is an excellent position for both the South Lakes and the Silverdale area.
The cottage felt as though it had been very thoughtfully and lovingly furnished and equipped. The beds were very comfortable, it was spotlessly clean but still had a lot of character. The gas stove in the sitting room made it very cosy. We already knew the area very well - a favourite.
The cottage was wonderful and the location was heavenly. It was easy to get out and about, even without a car, and the best part of the holiday was the fact that R.S.P.B. Leighton Moss was on the doorstep.
Very comfortable cottage with comfortable beds and warm of an evening during cold weather. Excellent location for walking and touring the area.
Lots of walks and within relative short distance. short journey to the Lakes and Lancaster. Quiet cottage.
