A comfortable annex in lovely surroundings, near to the town & beach. It was ideal for a peaceful holiday.
The Annexe was very quiet, spacious and warm. It was convenient for visits to Dorset and South Devon. There was plenty of parking.
This was my fifth stay at Old Ford Farm which speaks for itself. For me it's both a holiday location and a place of work where I can generate new ideas away from the distractions of a busy life. This time my pleasure was added to by the splendid colours of Autumn, hopefully I will be back to see the lambs in Spring...
Very comfortable accommodation with character and a thoughtful, friendly owner.
The cottage was in an idyllic location and was like a home from home.
This is the third time that I've stayed at this property and I've already booked a fourth. It is a very good 'out of season' retreat, with easy access to the coast and to Exeter. The owner is a very kind and generous host, on hand if needed but never intrusive.
This beautiful and luxurious cottage was very well equipped, set in a large, private and well kept garden. The owner was friendly and helpful.
Peaceful and well positioned for touring around. The owner is a perfect gentleman and an excellent host. We will definitely rebook this property again next year.
Tthe owner gave us a great welcome and never intruded or bothered us at any time. He was helpful and very pleasant. You felt that nothing would be too much trouble. The best thing about the property is the peaceful and relaxing surroundings. Absolutely ideal if you want a quiet holiday. It was definitely the best chilled out week we have ever had. The grounds are beautiful and cottage was better than we expected. A haven for wildlife, especially birds.
The cottage is very spacious, very clean and well furnished and the owner is friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful and within easy reach of number of interesting and lovely places to visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Old Ford Farm to all my friends.
My second stay at Old Ford Farm Annexe and what a lovely week it was, with spring-like weather, primroses and daffodils in the hedgerows and lambs in the fields! The owner is the perfect host: friendly but not intrusive and always on hand in case of need. I intend to book again later in the year.
I rented Old Ford Farm Annexe at the last minute as a place in which I could think, write and receive friends. It proved ideal in all these respects. The owner was both welcoming and helpful. I'll definitely return there whenever I feel the need to 'recharge my batteries.' For the regular holiday maker it's a great base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast in one direction and historic Exeter in the other.
On arrival, we received the warmest of welcomes from our host. The comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, set in the most picturesque and peaceful country setting, made for a relaxing and enjoyable autumn break. When the time came, we were sad indeed to leave Old Ford Farm Annexe.
A lovely cottage, a home from home. The owner was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Lovely setting and a good place to tour Devon.
The cottage is spacious, has very comfortable furnishings, really well equipped and spotlessly clean, and the owner is friendly and helpful.
The annexe is furnished as a home with lovely mirrors, books, china and furniture. It has a relaxing ambience, and enjoyed a very peaceful location. Our host made us feel instantly at home. Also very good access to the coast at Seaton, Lyme, Charmouth, and on bus route to Exeter and nice shops in Honiton, and farm shop just up the road. The sitting and dining rooms are very spacious, and having our own patio with a sun umbrella was a real treat.
Such a peaceful setting with resident sheep and most charming host. Particularly liked having the owner on-site, for advice and local knowledge since the area was unknown to us. Ideal base for the coast and countryside.
The cottage was secluded, comfortable and very relaxing.
This was a perfect location for touring South Devon. Our host was a perfect gentleman and really did go the extra mile to ensure that our every need was covered. He even moved some sheep from a field higher up to one adjacent to the cottage to really create the farm environment. Waking up to the sound of lambs in the morning was very refreshing.
Quiet location with an excellent host. Cottage beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean. Good for touring the coast and surrounding areas.
The location of the property was perfect for getting around the area. The cottage was set in a lovely area and easy to access from the road. The gardens were well kept and parking was excellent. The owner was very friendly and helpful and you felt at ease around his property.
As the first occupants of this facility, we were delighted with every aspect of the cottage. The owner was attentive and obliging. A comfortable and restful stay. Highly recommended.
The owner was most helpful and friendly. The location was great for exploring that part of Devon. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The provisions supplied were more than expected. Tea/coffee/milk/eggs plus a lovely bottle of wine.
