Reviews

This is the second time we have visited this cottage with our friends who kindly booked for us. It is cosy and has everything you could wish for including a lovely wood burner. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is an outer room for boots and coats etc. ( I want a "Croeso" mat!) The living-dining room has patio doors which lead onto a small area overlooking the railway with a table and chairs. Perfect on a sunny day for drinking cocktails and waving to the kids on the little trains...There is a modern well-designed bathroom with a great shower and the bedrooms are comfortable and clean. I love staying here with our friends, watching & listening to the trains go by and exploring beautiful Betws and surrounding areas. In summer or winter this place has different, but equally lovely qualities and things to offer. I would definitely highly recommend and we now tend to return each year with our friends because there are so many great things to do right on your doorstep, and we never tire of doing them and returning back to such a warm & welcoming property.

Our third time staying here. Location is so perfect for exploring Snowdonia and its right in the heart of Betws-y-coed which is like a home from home for us. The cottage has everything and more than you need and although we wont be making it four years in a row we will definitely return. Thank you

Absolutely brilliant, we have stayed here 3 times now and will surely be back again next year.

We enjoyed staying in the cottage very much and it was in an excellent location, in a quiet spot but in the centre of Betwsy-y-Coed. It was lovely to sit on the patio with a cup of tea watching the little trains. The town is in a beautiful setting and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area.

Stayed here for a second time in August 2015. My previous review said it all, a lovely cottage with great facilities close to every amenity you could wish for. We have booked again for Summer 2016 and can't wait!

The accommodation was a home from home and we could not have asked for more. It was comfortable, clean and there was even the added extra of toys e.t.c for our children to play with.

A lovely cottage in a great location. We would certainly recommend this property to others and will use it again.

Rated by Mr Swatton reviewed on 11th April 2015

The cottage had a cosy feel but was finished to a high standard. The underfloor heating meant that it was very warm, which was very useful as the weather was pretty wintry.

A lovely little cottage in a beautiful location.

Rated by Miss Vesty reviewed on 1st March 2015

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly located right in the heart of Betws-Y-Coed. There is so much to do locally that a week can fly by so quickly. Everything in the cottage is of the highest standard and was a perfect base for our adventures and we hope to be able to visit again one day. One thing to be aware of is this cottage is actually BIGGER than the photos make it look. I'm used to getting to holiday cottages and finding they are much smaller than they look!

3 Railway Cottages is a gorgeous little property. It's very homely, tastefully decorated, has everything you could possibly need and is in a very convenient but quiet location.

Rated by Mrs Jaques reviewed on 30th August 2014

Absolutely first class accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cottage and hopefully will get a chance to book again. Also, this is the first ever holiday accommodation I have booked which is actually bigger than the brochure pictures make it look. Thank you so much.

They say it is all about location and Betws-y-Coed delivers on that as a great base to explore Snowdonia. The cottage was a delight, quirky from first impressions. Located in a group of back to back railway cottages, but beautifully furnished and appointed in a contemporary style. The infrequent local trains are a point of interest and not disturbing. Our group of four adults would recommend 3 Railway Cottages to our friends. Thanks.

Good location for public transport. Very well appointed cottage. It had everything we needed. We liked the bike storage and the solid fuel stove with supply of firewood. Handy Spar grocery shop nearby.

The cottage is in excellent condition and a very good location. The walk to Swallow Falls, by the river, is well worth it for the view. We would definitely stay here again.
