Location! Location! Location! It was just perfect. Peaceful, clean and well equipped - ice cold chill out time. There were lots of places to visit, from a stunning Coral Beach to Wildlife to die for. Our first golden eagle entertained us for 15 minutes. A cottage not to miss!

The cottage was so clean and comfortable. After arriving in snow, the cottage was warm and cosy with heating on and the log burner lit. The owner came and checked we were ok after a massive storm.. We will definitely be going back and will recommend to family and friends.

In 28 years of self catering holidays, I have to say that this has to be the best and most comfortable cottage we have ever stayed in. Huge wood burner that pumped out heat on the coldest night of the year so far and the beautiful views from the conservatory which also fascinated the dog! Helpful and charming owners too.

What can we say, this was the perfect break for me and my family. The cottage was absolutely immaculate with fresh if not new bedding. The layout and décor of the cottage was excellent. We cannot say enough of our time in Jubilee Cottage and in particular how welcome the owners made us feel. Having been on a few cottage breaks I can honestly say this is right at the top of our favourites and I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here to anybody. If there was a rating out of 5 this would easily be a 5 star.

Fabulous Cottage in a wonderful location - perfect for all 5 of us, ages ranging from 15 months to 59 years. The owner, who lives next door (but was never intrusive), made us feel very welcome. The Cottage is at the end of a road & has stunning views of the sea, surrounding hills & countryside. As no traffic passes by it is in a very peaceful location.

The location of the cottage was superb, it was well furnished and very comfortable, particularly when we lit the log burner a few evenings (very cosy). The owners were next-door and were in fact very helpful without being intrusive. Overall it was a delightful cottage. I would recommend this cottage to anybody that appreciates peace, quiet and solitude in stunning scenery.

This was my 7th visit to Skye - and the best cottage I have ever stayed in. The location was stunning and the cottage itself was comfortable, warm, and well equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful. My son and I have had the most marvellous week and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Jubilee Cottage and Sykes Cottages to friends for future bookings. Thank you all so very much.

We had a wonderful break, very peaceful and relaxing. After the stunning journey over the mountains to get to Jubilee cottage our host had the fire going in readiness for our arrival, so we instantly felt at home. Our sons loved Uig and the surrounding area, and loved storm watching. Try the whisky of the week at the post office. Perfect!

The house was lovely. As clean as it could be, there is everything that you could possible need in the kitchen. Bedrooms were of a very high standard. The sea is only 20ft away from the sea. We all loved our stay.

The location of the property is stunning, the photographs don't quite do it justice. Just feet away from the sea - amazing. We have 2 dogs and to know that they were secure in the garden was a real bonus.

Rated by Mr Marney reviewed on 11th May 2013

The cottage is beautiful and is set in an ideal spot overlooking the Loch. Sitting in the 'conservatory' in the evenings with its unspoilt views is an abiding memory. Uig is a small friendly village, with Jubilee cottage being effectively the last building. Only a short walk away is the ferry landing and shop, bar and restaurant. Plus a shop, hardware store/garage, brewery, pottery and tea shop are across the road from the ferry. The post office in the village also has lots to offer.
