We have stayed at Violet Cottage twice and will be booking again. Very well equiped. Really handy to have a bathroom on each floor. Central location for what we wanted to do.Lots of plane spotting in the area. Local food shops very welcoming and handy for the odds and ends. Larger food shops can be found in Brandon, a short drive away.
This is a fantastic cottage. Very clean. Having a downstairs bathroom and an upstairs shower room is very useful. Feltwell is well and truly in the sticks, but we found that it was an ideal base to visit attractions in Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire. Nothing was too far away. We highly recommend the Chinese take away which is virtually opposite the cottage. The Wellington Arms is a great place, too. Nothing was too much trouble. Very tasty food at a reasonable price. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going to book another week at Violet Cottage next year. Highly recommended.
Violet Cottage is a very nice, spacious cottage, well equipped and 4 televisions with Sky Tv. Both bathrooms are really nice. Perfect for our needs. Easy distance to seaside, as well as Norwich etc
Violet Cottage was very comfortable and cosy with good facilities.
A cosy, comfortable and peaceful cottage with an unobtrusive but very helpful owner.
The position of it with regard to friends and family and the north Norfolk coast. Made full use of Kings Lynn shopping facilities.
Lovely cottage and garden with everything thoughtfully provided. Extremely comfortable and well located.
A thoughtfully and extremely well equipped cottage where we spent a comfortable and enjoyable week.
There was nothing not to like about the holiday. The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable. It is ideally situated and we had a wonderful time. It's a shame we had to go home
Violet Cottage was a well equipped, well kept, comfortable house. There was everything you could need and there were good facilities within walking distance. In fact the property was better than it's photographs on line as it was much bigger than expected.
Secure off-road parking. Very homely cottage, well-maintained throughout.
The cottage was very well equipped. Everything that was needed was available and this helped to make a very relaxed holiday.
Violet cottage offered excellent accommodation to the party I was travelling with. The local eateries, Chinese, Chip shop in Feltwell were very good value, and excellent quality, and the Little India in Lakenheath was truly amazing, the best meal I have ever had.
Lovely quiet location. Don’t let the quite surroundings put you off as more populated areas are within easy reach by car. The cottage its self is deceptively bigger than the pictures show. Everything we need was available. I won’t hesitate in recommending Violet cottage, and certainly would stay there again.
The cottage was very good if you just want a nice quiet break.
A great, well facilitated comfy place. Lots of room for our little one to roam around in. Loved the fact that it had 2 bathrooms, and the price was superb. We have family nearby, so used the cottage as a base to see them. Would stay here again.
Violet Cottage was very warm and comfortable. We visited at the end of February when the weather was bitterly cold but the cottage was cosy and welcoming.
A well equipped house in a lovely little village. Very spacious and comfortable.
Everything was great.
