Tyddyn Gyrfa Cottage, Cemaes Bay

What an amazing cottage to stay in. Linda the host is so welcoming and helpful (the welcome brownies are lovely). The house is lovely and the beds are amazing (I didn't want to come home to my own bed). The garden is great and dog friendly (Linda provides dog towels, poo bags and dog bowls, which is great). The house is a short walk into Cemaes which is a lovely little village (the butchers, the village shop and the harbour bar are great). We will definitely be staying again and we are already looking at when we can visit.

Fourth visit to cottage with our two dogs. We love this place it is home from home for us now and everyone relaxes as soon we arrive.. Dogs and people. Cottage has everything you could need and Peter and Linda the owners are very nice and helpful. The fact they live next door is a real benefit. Thanks for letting us us your old family home.

Lovely third visit. Basically dry this week but cloudy till last day when we truely appreciated the large dog proof garden. We all chilled see picture. Beach and walks great, position ideal. Locals very friendly just like home but by the sea

Lovely, well equipped and homely cottage. Cosy especially with the new log burners. Great garden for dogs and children. Location perfect for a relaxing coastal holiday. The village facilities were more than adequate in the main. Can recommend the pork pies bought from the village butcher and the fish and chips!!

We came to cottage last June and had such a nice time rebooked for April.cottage just a special as before with added wood burners for the cold April nights.this cottage is a special place owners lovely people who deserve all the praise visitors have heaped on them.thank you linda and Peter our visit was a joy with sunshine an added bonus.we will return.totally dog proof garden an added bonus

The house was immaculately clean and although utilised mainly by dog owners throughout the summer we couldn't find a single dog hair from the previous hirers occupancy, so no complaints there. The garden was fully dog proof which was a bonus, so we had no worries about the dogs escaping. All mod cons were provided so it made self catering a pleasure. We would highly recommend this property and we will probably revisit the island and this house in the future.

Lovely house 5 mins from beach pubs shops and beach.secure dog proof garden down quiet cul de sac.. House has 3 beds ,2 double and one single fully equipped and very homely.owners live next door and could not be more friendly and helpful.garden great for kids and dogs and bbq provided if required.weather too wet for us to use it but when we return which we will look forward to getting out in the garden.cemaes bay great village has 3 pubs ,grocery store,bakers chemist and lovely beach although with dog restrictions in summer

We had a relaxing chilled holiday and the dogs loved the garden. It was a short walk to the beaches and the owner is friendly and very helpful. A lovely holiday, hope to be back.

The garden was immaculate and great for the children to play in safely. The owner was helpful and friendly. Very comfortable beds and very clean property throughout. Easy parking and access.

It was very suitable for our 3 generation family group. Our granddaughter appreciated the games and DVD's as well as the big garden to play in. The spacious accommodation meant we could all enjoy time together and have personal space.

Where do I start with this amazing house, garden, owners, friendliness and beautiful island of Anglesey. Firstly the owners were so kind and friendly and the welcome pack was a beautiful touch. The cottage was spotless and equipped with everything. We were there for 2 weeks and at the start of week 2 fresh bedding, towels, tea towels and bath mats were delivered. The location was great just a 4 minute walk from the beach. The garden was beautiful and large and as we had Bailey our English Springer with us it was wonderful knowing that he was safe and secure at all times he loved it. The locals were so friendly and the island itself is beautiful with so many hidden coves and bays. For people travelling with dogs it is the best place we have been that allows you to take your pets out with you. Tyddyn Gyrfa we will be back.

The Cottage was perfect. 5 minutes walk to the beach.The Cottage was spacious, owners very friendly and helpful. My dog loved the huge enclosed garden, I cannot think of any faults.

The Cottage is a 'home from home' - everything was there that you could possibly need. Everything was very comfortable - very comfy beds! All very clean and tidy, it was great to be able to go somewhere nice when you have a dog. The owners are lovely people, really friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant; a very short walk to the village high street, two lovely beaches, 3 pubs, award winning fish 'n' chip shop and lovely walks from the doorstep. The garden is lovely and secure for your dog with plenty of space to run around, it was also a lovely little sun trap. Would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely and comfortable holiday home, cannot find one fault. Had lovely owners who went out of their way to make you feel at home. Would highly recommend this holiday home. Had a lovely garden which our dog Jimi really enjoyed. Could walk easily down to the beach from the property which was a bonus first thing in the morning, and the local shops and chip shop were again only a short walk away. Will be going back as soon as we can arrange another stay.

The farmhouse was amazing. Everything about it exuded quality. Seldom in my experience do holiday lets meet up with the advertising blurb but in this case it exceeded it. Presentation was excellent, especially the small final touches like the arrangement of the towels in the bedrooms with a small chocolate on. All in all everything was done to make our stay most enjoyable.

In an unspoilt area and the owners were very friendly and helpful. A quiet peaceful holiday break. In a great area for walking and they love dogs. This was our second visit but will not be our last.

An exceptional cottage. It is obvious to see why it is so popular, everything and more was contained within. Had extremely friendly and helpful owners with lots of extras included. In the perfect location. Will definitely recommend and certainly would love to return.

The cottage was lovely and so was the owner its the first holiday we've had that had a welcome pack of a loaf of bread,butter,t-bags,sugar,coffee,cake and milk. The garden was enclosed so the dogs had the run of it whilst still being secure. it was a short walk into the village and beach didn't want to come home. It was home from home and we will definately being going again.

The cottage was ideal for our needs and the hosts were lovely. It is an ideal family cottage which is fully equipped and the garden is secure for dogs which means a lot. It is a true home from home place to stay, any time of the year.

TYDDYN GYRFA was beautifully equipped and furnished with very friendly owners and an excellent welcome pack including scrumptious cake and a bottle of wine. Cemaes Bay has very good beaches, excellent walks and breath taking scenery. We would recommend the Cottage and the area to any one.

Firstly the standard of the cottage was excellent, a home from home and very comfortable. Our hosts were extremely friendly and informative. There is nothing I can say other than this cottage is excellent. It is the thought that the host has put into it. The location is perfect for touring the island and only a short stroll to the shops and harbour. The garden to the property is large and secure for your dog, plus has a large table and chairs. This is one property I would gladly recommend to family and friends. It's just perfect.

Great location of Cottage, owners were lovely and provided us with a very nice welcome package. Great that we could walk our dog to two local beaches and there were also a few lovely coastal walks direct from the door. Fab garden - our dog loved it. Everything you need was in the cottage and it had a very comfy bed! Great central area to get around Anglesey with great beaches that are dog friendly.

A superb property in a wonderful location.

After travelling round the Isle of Anglesey it was great to come back to a home from home cottage and be able to relax.

The cottage was excellent in all respects, with an easy three minute walk to the beach. The owners of the cottage were very friendly and helpful, providing an excellent welcome pack. Cemaes Bay is a very beautiful place to stay with easy access to explore the rest of Anglesey from. A very enjoyable holiday and would recommend the cottage and the bay to anyone.

Our first visit to Anglesey and it could not have been better. The property was first class with plenty of space but still remained cosy; the garden was great for the dogs. We will definitely look to return.

It was a great location for walking on the beach, and exploring the rest of Anglesey. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden and relaxing. The cottage is lovely and we had a very relaxing holiday. We found good food at pubs and restaurants ten minutes drive away in Amlwch (little Italy) and Bull Bay (Trecastell).

The lovely Island of Anglesey and the coastal path walks. The cottage was really nice with a lovely big back garden and BBQ. I would go to that property again! Also the owner who lives next door was very friendly and very helpful.

We loved the location of the cottage and its friendly owners, who were welcoming on arrival. Cupcakes and some basic food provisions were a lovely touch. Overall we had a lovely break in a lovely cottage.

The location for the town and beach was perfect. The garden was ideal for large families with pets and children. The owners are lovely people who really care for the property and their guests. The crab from next door was the best you can get!

The cottage is of very high cleanliness. And a lovely big garden which was great for our two German shepherds. 2 minutes from the beach and shops. Excellent will book again.

It was really nice and friendly. The owners who were next door were really helpful. For me to have an open fire in an old cottage was superb. We were given a welcome pack of basics, plus a nice big bunch of flowers.

The property was beautifully furnished with thoughtful touches. One of the nicest 'extras' were the welcome cakes and the best local area file I have ever seen.
