Llechwedd is a stunning detached cottage on the edge of Dolgellau, with wonderful views over the Cader Idris mountains. The cottage has a king-size double master bedroom with en-suite shower room, a double room and a room with adult bunks. There is a house bathroom and an additional ground floor cloakroom. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and a dining area with comfy seating and TV, and there is a cosy sitting room. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a raised patio area with furniture, along with a sloping lawned area and front seating area too. Llechwedd is a luxurious base for enjoying Dolgellau, the coastline, biking and walking trails and of course, the mountains of Snowdonia.

Raised patio area with furniture, BBQ and mountain views. Rear sloping grassed area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Dolgellau town centre 5 mins walk. Note: There is a very shallow stream running through the garden.
Location Details
Located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea, is the small market town of Dolgellau. This fabulous holiday base is a prefect spot from which to combine the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. With a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat the town is well placed for access to other nearby coastal resorts. This is a quiet, peaceful location, ideal for outdoor activities amongst the superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

What a lovely, comfortable property Llechwedd is, worth every penny of the rental! Dolgellau is a very nice little town with a nice selection of shops and lovely places to eat. Great variety of things to do within 10 mile area. The views from the house are amazing and I would love to return when the trees are changing colour, it must be spectacular! We certainly hope to return in the future.
This lovely detached cottage is in a great location, perfect for cycling holidays and close to many attractions. The accommodation was clean and well appointed and the outdoor space private with great views over Cadar Idris. Very rarely does a holiday home live up to the brochure description, but this one actually exceeds expectations!
A well presented, very comfortable and spacious cottage that has everything you could need. It is in a really good location for exploring Dolgellau and the surrounding areas. We would definitely recommend it and would look to return in the future.
Lechwedd is a gorgeous house, with plenty of room and everything we needed and more. Very comfortable and spacious. The area is perfect for those wanting to visit various parts of Snowdonia and there are plenty of great walks to go on locally. Dolgellau, the town in which the property is situated has plenty of amenities and lots of old quirky streets to admire.
We had a great time and found Llechwedd a wonderfully relaxing and beautiful place to be.Thank you!

Luxury accommodation, ideally situated in a peaceful setting, but still within a few minutes walk of the town. Stunning views from the property. The owner was very helpful providing local information on places to visit and places to eat etc.
We spent one week at this lovely cottage on the outskirts of the town of Dolgellau.Well worth the price and convenient for attractions around this area. A must see is Snowdon...pricey to go up on the train..£27.50...but free to walk it!...Also visited Portmeirion village and the great beach at Barmouth.Visited Caernarvon and Castell y Bere...went everywhere in fact and returned to a home from home at this well equipped and comfortable cottage...just perfect...Love the underfloor heating in the lovely kitchen/diner...perfect underfoot first thing in the morning and after a long walk in the evening.hope to return.
Overall the standard of the property was very good. The property was spacious and well laid out. It was nicely furnished and was very light and airy. The property was very clean and had most of the things we needed for a good holiday. The position near the town was convenient and access to surrounding areas was good.
We were completely blown away with the cottage, everything was immaculate and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was our favourite room and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking in there. The location is pretty perfect; it is only a 10 to15 minute walk to Dolgellau which is lovely & the beaches are very beautiful. We will definitely return, thank you for a wonderful holida
The cottage was really comfortable to come back to following outdoor activities. The location was in easy reach of a very friendly town with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Good location. Easy walk to the town of Dolgellau. Convenient supermarket just down the road - great for food and newspapers. Easy motoring to Fairbourne beach. Convenient access to the Mawdach trail which is good for cycling and walks. WiFi access excellent.
We had a great time here. The little personal touches, such as the wine, tea and toiletries made it that bit more special.

The location of the property was excellent, giving easy access to many different attractions. The cottage was spotless and comfy with all the facilities we needed.The owner even arranged to get a travel cot and high chair to us at the last minute. Fantastic service.
Excellent location: beautiful mountain views, easy distance to several popular locations and activities in Snowdonia, nature park practically at the doorstep and amenities close by.
